Aerial Firefighting
As a leader in aerial firefighting in Canada, Babcock provides a full range of aerial firefighting capabilities from customizable services to fully integrated turn-key solutions. Since 2019, Babcock has been proud to deliver critical aerial wildfire suppression services to the Province of Manitoba, supporting their fleet of seven amphibious waterbomber aircraft and three Twin Commander 690 “bird-dog” aircraft. In 2025 alone, Babcock supported over 2,456 flight hours, 432 fire missions, and 9,069 water drops, all while maintaining an aircraft availability rate of over 98%.
Helicopter Emergency Medical Services
In 2023, Babcock was awarded a 10-year multi-million-dollar contract by Ascent Helicopters Ltd. to support Ascent in their delivery of rotary-wing air ambulance services to British Columbia Emergency Health Services (BCEHS). As the Approved Maintenance Organization, Babcock has provisioned seven Leonardo AW169 helicopters to support Ascent’s BC EHS contract.
