Participate in AIAC’s New Working Groups and Sub Committees!
AIAC is launching new opportunities for members to engage on key priorities through dedicated working groups and sub-committees.
Chemical Substances Working Group (CSWG)
Under the Sustainability Committee, the CSWG responds to member demand for greater engagement on evolving regulations from Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), particularly related to emerging chemical management requirements. The group will also help shape Canada’s regulatory approach, promoting harmonized, risk-based and innovation-supporting outcomes for the aerospace and defence sectors.
Drone/RPAS Sub-Committee
The Drone/RPAS Sub-Committee focuses on advancing the integration and safe operation of remotely piloted aircraft systems in Canada. It will address regulatory developments, operational use cases and emerging technologies, while supporting engagement with government and regulators. Initial discussions will include identifying the current RPAS ecosystem landscape in Canada, as well as key technology gaps and priorities.
Interested members can contact Brent (bgebuza@aiac.ca) for further information or to join these Working Groups.
