Aerial Firefighting

Since 2019, Babcock has been proud to deliver critical aerial wildfire suppression services to the Province of Manitoba. As a leader in aerial firefighting in Canada, Babcock delivers a fully integrated and professional aerial firefighting management service, supporting Manitoba’s fleet of seven amphibious waterbomber aircraft and three Babcock-owned Twin Commander 690 “bird-dog” aircraft.

In 2023 alone, Babcock delivered over 1,500 flight hours, supported 674 fire missions, and completed 5,006 water drops.

Helicopter Emergency Medical Services

In 2023, Babcock was awarded a contract by Ascent Helicopters to support their delivery of rotary-wing air ambulance services for British Columbia Emergency Health Services. As the Approved Maintenance Organization on this contract, Babcock will be provisioning seven Leonardo AW169s to support the BCHEMS contract.
