Celebrating Excellence in Canadian Aerospace – AIAC Announces the 2024 Aerospace Industry Award Winners
Ottawa, Ontario – The Aerospace Industry Association of Canada (AIAC) is pleased to announce the recipients of the prestigious 2024 Aerospace Industry Awards, celebrating excellence and innovation across the Canadian aerospace industry. These awards recognize the outstanding contributions of individuals and organizations that continue to propel the Canadian aerospace sector forward.
The 2024 AIAC Award Winners are as follows:
- James C. Floyd Award – Gilles Labbé, Executive Chairman of the Board, Héroux-Devtek
- Industry Excellence Award for Small Business Innovation and Technology – Horizon Aircraft
- Industry Excellence Award for Small Business Innovation and Technology – Pole Air Aviation
AIAC President and CEO, Mike Mueller, expressed his enthusiasm and gratitude for the outstanding efforts of this year’s award winners, stating “The aerospace industry in Canada is known for its disruptive, innovative and world-class ideas. We are delighted to honor these exceptional individuals and companies who have demonstrated outstanding achievements and have contributed significantly to the success of the Canadian aerospace sector.”
This year’s recipients will be honoured during the awards ceremony at the AIAC Annual Aerospace Summit on November 5. The event will bring together industry leaders, professionals, and government officials to celebrate the achievements and innovations of these outstanding individuals and organizations.
