AIAC Announces Annual Industry Award Winners

The Aerospace Industries Association of Canada (AIAC) is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 Aerospace Industry Awards, honouring exceptional achievements and innovation across Canada’s aerospace sector.

The 2025 Award Winners are as follows:

  • James C. Floyd Award — Jake Trainor, PAL Aerospace
  • Industry Excellence Award for Lifetime Achievement  — De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited
  • Industry Excellence Award for Small Business Innovation and Technology  — CEL Aerospace
  • Honourable Marc Garneau Award – Canada’s Astronauts, past and present, in recognition of their achievements as part of the Canadian Space Agency (previously announced)

AIAC President and CEO, Mike Mueller, congratulated the 2025 Award winners, saying:

“Canada’s aerospace industry is built on innovation, resilience and world-class ideas. We’re proud to recognize these remarkable individuals and organizations whose leadership, ingenuity, and dedication continue to advance Canada’s position as a global aerospace leader.”

This year’s recipients were honoured during the awards ceremony at the Annual Aerospace Dinner on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, as part of the Canadian Aerospace Summit. The event brought together leaders from across industry and government to honour the recipients and celebrate the excellence that defines Canada’s aerospace community.
