John Maris named Defence Executive of the Year by Canadian Defence Review

Ottawa (Ontario), March 3, 2017 – John Maris, a leader in the aerospace industry’s small business sector and a former Chair of the Aerospace Industries Association of Canada (AIAC), has been named Defence Executive of the Year by Canadian industry publication Canadian Defence Review.

As an award-winning entrepreneur and a leading voice for small business in the aerospace industry, John’s recognition is highly deserved. John has also been a prominent voice for the small business community at AIAC and in the development of Canadian aerospace policies and programs, including as AIAC Board Chair and as Chair of AIAC’s small business committee.
