  • CARIC / GARDN Project Workshops
    January-February 2015

    CARIC and GARDN invite you to take part in their workshop tour, in which you will have the opportunity to submit project ideas. This national tour will take place starting January 20, 2015.

    The activity will be divided in two parts: the morning will be dedicated to CARIC's national and international project ideas, while the afternoon will cover GARDN's. Participation in the webinar session on December 11 is highly recommended in order to have all of the information required to submit a project idea or indicate your interest in participating as a partner.

  • AIAC Day on the Hill / Western Aerospace Partnership Day
    February 25, 2015 - Ottawa, ON

    On February 25, 2015, AIAC will be hosting a Day on the Hill and Western Partnership Day in which members can visit Ottawa and participate in a one-day program of meetings and round-tables with Members of Parliament, Cabinet Ministers, and government officials. Please mark this day on your calendars and plan to participate!

    Our one-day program will include:

    • Briefing & networking breakfast for all participants;
    • Meetings with Ministers;
    • Meetings with Members of Parliament;
    • Issue meetings with DMs and ADMs; and
    • An evening reception with MPs/Ministers, Senators and senior public servants.

  • Build in Canada Innovation Program (BCIP) - Innovation Forum
    February 25, 2015 - Toronto, ON

    The Office of Small and Medium Enterprises (OSME) – Ontario Region is planning to hold a Build in Canada Innovation Program (BCIP) - Innovation Forum on February 25, 2015.

    Time: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
    Venue: 3rd Floor Auditorium
    Location: Joseph Shepard Building, 4900 Yonge Street, Toronto, Ontario

    Format: The morning session will comprise of testimonials from BCIP pre-qualified innovators and testing departments followed by a panel discussion. The afternoon session will comprise of speakers from various federal departments on their future program needs. There will also be a trade show with display tables from various pre-qualified innovators and federal funding departments throughout the day.

    Participants: Small and Medium Enterprises, entrepreneurs, the innovation community, federal departments.

  • HEC Montreal AeroWorld MBA Program
    Beginning September 2015; application deadline March 2015

    Starting in September 2015, HEC Montréal will be offering an AeroWorld MBA. This MBA focusing on the aerospace industry is the only one of its kind in Canada, intended for managers seeking national and international positions and responsibilities.

    The intensive program, offered full-time over a one-year period (54 credits), will be given in English, as it will welcome students from around the world. It should be of particular interest to people in the aerospace industry.

    The AeroWorld MBA will be offered in Montreal, one of the main centres of the aerospace industry, in collaboration with international experts from the EBC AeroWorld Institute, an internationally acclaimed institution specializing in aerospace.
