Vertex Precision Manufacturing operates three manufacturing sites in Ontario, Canada. The company focuses on process re-engineering and is implementing digital manufacturing to increase throughput while reducing lead times.

We offer our customers the cost-competitiveness and nimbleness of a small company with the sophistication of a Tier 1 supplier.

Currently, Vertex operates two precision machine shops and a finishing shop. Our facilities are AS9100 Rev. C certified and Canadian Controlled Goods (CGP) registered; our finishing shop also carries NADCAP certifications and many customer approvals.

Our strategy is to bring our shops to a Tier 1 level of sophistication and professionalism, including lean manufacturing, and very strong process control, with principals of standard work applied across the enterprise. We also focus on production cost reduction and price de-escalation through the deployment of manufacturing technology. The company has fourteen degreed engineers on staff and works closely with our customers to assist in value-engineering and process improvement to ensure the most costeffective, highest quality result is obtained.

Our Fort Erie location, Aero-safe Technologies, Inc., specializes in extreme precision machining for Satcom, optical and safety components, and also maintains a dedicated microscopic deburring cell. Operating in a modern, 25,000 square foot facility, the site has the staff and capacity to handle the most demanding machining challenges.

Our NADCAP certified processing and finishing shop, Aero-safe Processing, is in an adjacent facility on the same campus, enabling us to provide turn-key machining and finishing with reduced lead times. Finishing processes include painting, passivation, liquid penetrant inspection, Electroless Nickel, Cadmium, Copper, Tin and Silver plating, and hard, sulfuric and Chromic acid anodizing with many customer certifications.

Our Dellcom Aerospace facility, located in Concord, specializes in the rapid manufacture and assembly of small and mid-sized airframe components and sub-assemblies and offers Blue-Streak manufacturing services, with lead times a fraction of industry standards. Dellcom also specializes in value-engineering and design development support and frequently works with our customers’ design teams to help reduce manufacturing costs and to bring a new product into production on a tight time-line.
