AIAC congratulates John Maris on induction into Canada’s Aviation Hall of Fame

Ottawa (Ontario) – Yesterday John Maris, President of Marinvent Corporation and former Chair of AIAC’s Board of Directors, was inducted into Canada’s Aviation Hall of Fame in recognition of his many contributions to Canadian aviation and aerospace. Jim Quick, President and CEO of the Aerospace Industries Association of Canada (AIAC), attended the event and issued the following statement:

“On behalf of the Board and members of AIAC, I am pleased to congratulate John Maris on his induction to Canada’s Aviation Hall of Fame. In addition to his many accomplishments as an operational pilot, test pilot, and innovator, John is also a leading voice in Canada’s aerospace community and a passionate advocate for small business growth and competitiveness in Canada and around the world. AIAC and its membership have long benefited from John’s vision, expertise, and commitment to our industry, and I am delighted to celebrate this recognition of his leadership.”
